•  Working Principle

Our 55*2 Double Shaft Shredder adopts low-speed, high-torque and bidirectional cutting shear shredding working principle, which is special equipment for biomass and industrial solid waste pretreatment. After the equipment is started, two 55KW main motors matched with heavy-duty reducers output power synchronously, driving two alloy cutter shafts to rotate oppositely at low speed. Large materials fall into the meshing area of the cutter shafts from the top feeding hopper, and bulk and uneven-hardness materials are crushed into uniform particles through four physical effects: grabbing, squeezing, shearing and tearing of cutter claws.

The equipment is equipped with an intelligent anti-jamming induction system. When encountering overload caused by ultra-hard materials, the system will automatically control the cutter shaft to reverse, return materials and restart forward rotation, effectively avoiding failures such as machine stalling, jamming and motor burning. The whole process adopts pure mechanical physical shredding without high temperature and material deterioration. The particle size of shredded materials is uniform and controllable, which can perfectly adapt to the feeding requirements of subsequent crushers, dryers and biomass pellet mills. The whole process is smooth and stable, greatly improving the production efficiency of the entire pellet production line.
