Product Overview
The flat die wood pellet mill is a device that processes biomass raw materials such as sawdust, straw, bamboo chips, and rice husk into pellet fuel. Pellet fuel has the advantages of high density, high calorific value, cleanliness, and environmental protection, and is widely used in boilers, biomass power plants, home heating, and other fields.
Working Principle
The motor drives the main shaft to rotate after speed change by the reducer, driving the rollers to rotate (the die is stationary); materials enter the pelletizing chamber through screw conveying, and the friction force between the rollers and the die squeezes the materials into the die holes; the extrusion process generates high temperature of 120-130℃, softening the natural lignin in wood to become a binder; after being extruded through the die holes, the materials are cut into uniform pellets by the cutter, and finally complete pelletizing through the discharge hopper.
