Working Principle

1. Pre treatment and feeding: Fluffy biomass materials (such as straw and sawdust) first need to be crushed and dried, processed into suitable sizes, and the moisture content reduced to around 10% -14%. The processed raw materials are sent to the feeding chamber of the pellet machine.

The raw materials are evenly spread on a stationary flat template with many mold holes. The pressure roller installed on the spindle rotates with the spindle and rolls through the material layer. The pressure roller forcefully squeezes the raw materials into the mold holes. During this process, enormous pressure and friction generate heat, causing lignin in the raw materials to soften and exert a bonding effect, firmly binding substances such as cellulose together.

3. Cutting and discharging: The cylindrical material that is extruded from the other end of the mold hole is cut into particles of a specified length by a rotating cutter, and finally sent out through the discharging system.
