It is mainly used to cut various types of wood waste, such as branches, twigs, veneer, small diameter wood, even bamboo, straw, etc., into wood chips of certain specifications. These wood chips can be used as industrial raw materials for artificial boards and papermaking, or as fuel for biomass power generation, effectively realizing the resource utilization of agricultural and forestry waste.
Working Principle
The core of a mobile wood slicer is a high-speed rotating disc or roller. The workflow is as follows:
1. Feeding and Feeding: The operator feeds the wood into the feeding port. Some advanced models are equipped with hydraulic forced feeding mechanisms or feeding rollers, which can improve efficiency and prevent material blockage.
2. Cutting and crushing: In the machine cavity, wood will come into contact with flying knives installed on high-speed rotating disc or drum cutters. Under the tremendous cutting force, wood is cut and sliced into small pieces.
