The Mobile Tree Mulcher is a specialized mechanical equipment designed to process various large wooden wastes such as tree roots and stumps. It can crush these difficult-to-handle woods into wood chips or sawdust that meet the requirements in one go, and is widely used in industrial fields such as biomass power plants, particleboard, and MDF production.
Main features
1. Strong power and efficient operation: Equipped with high-power motors (commonly 75-220 kW, or even higher), and utilizing a drum-cutter type of cutting, it can directly crush the entire tree stump, eliminating the need for the cumbersome pre-treatment process using a wood splitter, thus significantly enhancing efficiency.
2. Controllable quality and flexible application of finished products: By adjusting the equipment, the shape of the finished products can be freely adjusted from sawdust-like, granular to flaky. The size of the crushed wood chips is mostly between 20-50 millimeters, with uniform particle size, meeting the raw material needs of different downstream industries.
3. Structural Design and Operating Characteristics: The structure is compact, occupying a small area. It is made of high-strength steel plates welded together, making it sturdy and durable. It operates with low noise, and some new models also feature a PLC automatic control system, providing functions such as start, stop, reverse, and automatic reverse in case of overload, ensuring safe and convenient operation.
4. Technological evolution and targeted improvements: To address the issues of irregular discharge and larger wood chips from early stump crushers, some manufacturers have made technological improvements, enabling the production of wood chips with a length of around 45 millimeters, comparable to the effect of log chippers. To address the issue of stumps often containing soil, patented technology has been designed with a function to pre-crush and screen out impurities, effectively cleaning up soil blocks, improving the quality of finished wood chips, and protecting equipment.
