Main structure of wood hammer mill

Base: It serves to connect and support the various components of the crusher, forming a cohesive whole.

Rotor: composed of main shaft, turntable, pin shaft, hammer plate, bearings and other parts, it is the main moving part of the crusher. The rotor speed is high, and dynamic balance verification should be carried out without installing the pin shaft and hammer after assembly.

Fan: The fan is independent and connected to the suction port of the fan.

Upper shell: The upper part is connected by a feeding port and a strip lining plate, and the lower part is connected by a base. The crushing chamber is composed of a rotor. The material is crushed in the crushing chamber.

The working process of wood hammer mill

The material enters the crushing chamber through the feeding port of the upper shell, and is gradually crushed under the high-speed rotation of the hammer and the fricof the sieve plate. Under the action of centrifugal force and airflow, the material passes through the sieve and is sucked out by the bottom air suction port by the fan.

Installation, operation and maintenance of wood hammer mill

1. The operator should understand the structure of the machine, be familiar with its performance and operating methods.

Before starting up, it is necessary to carefully inspect all connecting components and ensure that there is no looseness.

3. Check whether the rotor rotates flexibly without any jamming, collision, friction, or other phenomena.

4. Only when ensuring the safety of both the human and machine, can the vehicle be started. It takes 2-3 minutes for air transportation to start feeding, and the suction system must be in normal working condition before feeding.

5. Production should be evenly fed and should not be too much or too little; Ensure that the motor operates at rated load.

6. After the work is completed, the machine must be air freighted for 1-2 minutes to crush and discharge all the materials inside before it can be stopped.          

7. If there is strong vibration during the operation of the crusher, it should be stopped immediately for inspection, the cause should be identified, and the fault should be eliminated before continuing to operate.

8. Oil injection, cleaning, and necessary inspections should be carried out before and after each shift.

9. Adjustment of Hammer Plates: The hammer plates are arranged symmetrically, and must be installed strictly according to the requirements. The weight difference between the corresponding two sets of hammer plates must not exceed 5 grams. The hammer blade utilizes its two corners to work, while the high-efficiency crusher uses the flip plate at the feed inlet and the rotation direction of the motor to change the two corners of the hammer blade. That is, after one corner wears out, the flip plate is rotated to the other side, and the rotation direction of the motor is changed to use the other hammer blade angle for crushing. There is no need to remove the rotor to change the orientation of the hammer blade, saving time for replacing the hammer blade and improving efficiency.

10. Adjustment of sieve mesh: Select the appropriate sieve mesh according to the fineness requirements of the crushed material. After severe wear or damage to the screen, it is necessary to replace the screen in a timely manner.
